Part Time Youth Reading Program Coordinator

City Impact, a faith-based organization ministering to youth and families in Lincoln's urban neighborhoods, is seeking a Youth Reading Program Coordinator to oversee all activities related to the daily operation of the Impact Reading Center.  Primary responsibilities include effective communication with key school personnel; setting tutoring rosters; training and caring for volunteers; managing student behavior; managing reading curriculum and resources; development of program procedures and routines; gathering information and maintaining databases; and planning volunteer appreciation activities.  This is a 30 hour/week position.  The Reading Program Coordinator must be available Monday-Friday as needed from 8:30AM – 3:30PM.  Specific hours will be decided once partnering teacher schedules are developed at the beginning of the school year.  The remaining hours are flexible planning hours.  Hourly pay is $13/hour.  For an application, please contact City Impact at tbowman@cityimpact.org.
