Strengths for Life Mentoring

Strengths for Life Mentoring – monthly mentoring with a City Impact youth that will allow the student to explore his or her interests (hiking, cooking, singing, etc) and will offer guidance through college and career exploration and college preparation.

Serve Monthly as a/n:

- Interest Mentor: Mentor a student (grades 3-12) in a similar interest activity such as a sport, instrument or other hobby.

- Career Mentor: Mentor a student (grades 3-8) in career exploration.  Participate in a minimum of 6 site visits with your student to different businesses that have agreed to participate in our program.  Use remaining visits for fun activities in the community.

- College Mentor: Mentor a student (grades 9-12) through the process of exploring, preparing for, and applying to colleges.

- You can also serve whenever is convenient for you as a career site host for students interested in pursuing your career.
