Impact Reading Center

A very successful volunteer-driven program at work in under-resourced schools that uses various curriculums to enhance student’s sight reading skills and reading fluency. This program pairs challenged readers with an adult who sits with and guides the student as he or she accomplishes fun reading assignments.

The Impact Reading Center seeks to ensure that every student in Lincoln’s Public Schools is reading at or above grade level.

One hour a week commitment for a school semester based on volunteer’s availability.
